2. Mental rehearsal

The relaxed focus that you achieve during a hypnotherapy session can boost your ability to use your imagination and mentally rehearse challenging things so that they go well in real life. When we vividly imagine something, the subconscious mind can’t distinguish it from reality. So if we imagine a presentation going really well, for example, and imagine how calm and confident we feel doing it, the subconscious mind takes this onboard and makes it easier to feel calm and confident in the real life presentation. We can use this technique for phobias, confidence, sport performance or weight loss, too.
