2. Walk

We all know exercise is good for us, but studies show it lowers stress levels, boosts mood and increases mental alertness. Just 30 minutes three times a week gives these benefits and even if you can’t fit in 30 minutes continuously, 3 x 10-minute walks get the same results. That could just mean a 10-minute walk either side of your journey to and from work, plus a 10-minute walk at lunchtime.
