The press up is not only great for the arms, but also for the chest and abs. One of the oldest body-weight exercises in the book, press-ups may be basic but are capable of transforming your arms. They should be performed on your toes, however if this is too much to start with you can make it easier by dropping to your knees. Keeping the full range of movement, aim for 3 sets of 15 reps.
