2. Find a suitable workout area

You don’t need a big area to do a park workout but you do need space to do cardio and perhaps squats or other exercises.  I look for something called ‘work stations’ and use things like rocks, logs, walls and steps – where possible I make sure these spaces are away from people so that I’m not distracted. I try to use my environment to get the best possible workout done.  Hills make great areas for hill sprints, benches are great for incline/decline push-ups, step ups, box jumps, tricep dips and a table for your water, phone, keys, timer, etc. Monkey bars on a playground are great for pull-ups, chin ups, and core exercises.
