Puma partners with Selena Gomez to collaborate on exciting new projects.
Activewear giant Puma has just announced its new partnership with superstar Selena Gomez. In addition to being a household name as a singer, actress and producer, Selena is also the most followed person on Instagram (with 127m followers!). With Selena’s many impressive credentials in mind, she’s the ideal person to collaborate with the global sports brand.
Selena and Puma will now work together to design new products and create innovative marketing campaigns. With the brand getting set to launch the Phenom, the latest addition to its women’s footwear line, this partnership has come at a perfect time. We can’t wait to see what the partnership produces.
Setting the trends
Selena and Puma have a lot in common. Not only are they both always on trend, but they’re the ones setting the trends. Puma has created a legacy for itself as one of the leading sports brands on the market, designing exercise apparel that’s fashionable and functional. Selena, on the other hand, has gone from strength to strength throughout her career. She burst onto the scene on the Disney Channel before forging a successful solo career. Since then she’s topped the charts, starred in Hollywood films and has pledged her support for a number of worthy causes. So, it’s safe to say Selena enjoys taking part in a number of different pursuits.
As far as partnerships go, it’s no surprise that Selena is feeling particularly proud of her new collaboration with Puma. ‘Being part of the Puma family is very exciting for me,’ said Selena Gomez. ‘Puma has changed the game when it comes to the mash-up of athletic wear and fashion. It’s amazing to see this influence on style and culture and I’m excited to be a part of it. I am hoping that we can create something special together. We already have some really cool projects in the works.’ We can’t wait to see what this collaboration has in store for the world and the new trends that it will no doubt inspire.
