We know we’re always harping on about how tremendous water is (which it is) but it’s still nice to treat yourself now and then to something a little more exciting, which is why we’ve found 5 of the most nutritious drinks to quench your thirst and tickle your tastebuds. With lots of cool new healthy drinks around you don’t have to compromise on delicious taste to find a drink that’s ludicrously healthy and doesn’t contain a mammoth amount of sugar. We’ve been trialling a fair few in the office and here are the ones we’re most impressed with.
1. B.Fresh #totalbeets
Vegetable- and fruit-based juice brand B.Fresh has a new addition to its cold-pressed juices: #totalbeets is 95 per cent beetroot juice with a 5 per cent zing of lemon designed to give you a real energy boost. It also makes an effective pre-gym drink. In a report by the NHS, looking at increase in stamina, beet juice was thought to enhance sport performance owing to its nitrate content, which aids the body in using less oxygen, and consequently boosting endurance.
