Yoga is as popular as ever, but loving your downward dogs doesn’t mean you have to do the same class – or even stick to the same style – week in, week out. In fact it’s a good idea to change things up a bit to keep your body guessing, and make sure you still get great results. Check out the hot new yoga classes that are making it onto our fitness schedules this month.

1. Yoga Bomb
This awesome combination of high-intensity training (HIIT) and yoga is the perfect way to get a comprehensive workout in a very short time. Fifteen minutes of high intensity, body weight interval training – trust us, it’s tough – followed by 15 minutes of restorative, stretching and relaxing yoga makes for a fab class that works every element of your fitness.

2. Rocket yoga
Hugely popular, this new school of ‘rebel’ yoga led by Marcus Veda is a clever take on Ashtanga yoga and isn’t afraid to break a few rules of the traditional practice. It’s fast paced, it’s fun, it’s sweaty and it’s easy enough to pick up after a few classes. All in all it’s a fantastic mix of the best bits of yoga. Check it out at moveyourframe.com

3. Fierce Grace, The Fix
This fantastic hot yoga class takes all the best bits of Bikram and squeezes them into a super-speedy class that takes less than an hour – 50 minutes to be precise. Combining Bikram poses and floor work in a hot room, it’s a challenging class, make no mistake. So if you’re struggling to fit those 90-minute Bikram sessions into a hectic schedule, this could be the answer. And don’t forget to drink plenty of water before and after, and bring a towel – it gets pretty sweaty in there! Check it out at fiercegrace.com
