2. Drink more water
‘Think how vital water is to our health. Our blood is primarily water – and in fact our entire body is made up of about 60 percent water. It is needed for all the chemical reactions to take place in the body, and to dissolve and transport nutrients, oxygen and wastes. Extreme dehydration is obviously fatal, but if we lose even a small percentage of water, symptoms can start to appear that affect our everyday wellbeing – such as lack of concentration, headaches, dizziness, and irritability. So if you are experiencing similar symptoms and don’t know why, check your water intake: we need to get around two litres – or eight cups – of water a day.’
