A lovely idea from Liz Goodchild is to ‘practice gratitudes: At the end of each day, write down three things you’re grateful for. It could be anything; the bus journey home and seeing the Christmas trees in people’s windows, your partner, the money you earn to spend on gifts for loved ones or your dog’s wagging tail as he greets you as you return home each day.’
