Forget that it’s Christmas at all, recommends Karen Liebenguth, who runs Green Space Life Coaching. Or at least once in a while, anyway. It’s easy to become overwhelmed and obsessed with trying to create the ‘perfect Christmas,’ so try not to let all your time get eaten up with planning parties, buying presents and preparing food. Instead, ‘stay in touch with normal life by doing what keeps you sane; be it going for a walk or swim, seeing a friend, taking time out to read a book or magazine.’
