If you want a whiter and brighter smile in time for party season, Natasha Corrett, alkaline guru and founder of Honestly Healthy Food, has some top tips for you. Having teamed up with BlanX, Natasha looks at natural ways to keep your pearly whites, well… pearly and white!

Natasha looks at foods such as apples, cauliflower and celery and also explains why BlanX products may need to be your new best friend. Using natural teeth whitening extracts such as arctic lichen and bamboo micropowder, the non-abrasive and sensitive range of BlanX products aim to gradually whiten teeth over time.

As well as BlanX, Natasha’s tips include getting a good crunch when you eat. ‘When you’re crunching into something, it breaks down the plaque which makes teeth naturally white,’ she explains. Foods such as apples, nuts and seeds, cauliflower and broccoli can all work. Natasha also recommends having a lot of saliva in the mouth. Sounds a bit gross we know, but Natasha assures us that this can help remove the debris in your mouth, giving you a brighter smile. ‘Foods that do that are things like pears, celery and carrots’, says Natasha. ‘Now to me, that sounds like the perfect juice combination!’
