Your skin is a reflection of what you eat and it can give you a more attractive golden glow than any amount of sunbathing according to research from the Quarterly Journal of Experimental Psychology. The yellow and red pigments in bright fruit and veg increases your skin’s ‘yellowness’, also known as carotenoid colouration, which is more important in achieving a healthy appearance than melanin coloration (sunbathing).
