5 summer beauty hacks you need to know

Moisturising for a natural tan

You want to make your tan look as natural as possible, but as the skin on your elbows, knees, knuckles and ankles is drier, these areas are prone to picking up more pigment. So without moisturising first, you’ll get an uneven-looking tan. So here’s the tip: apply an oil-free moisturiser to your skin (and specifically to the areas mentioned) before putting on your tan. Try a fragrance-free moisturiser, such as Aloe Body Butter by The Body Shop, as it’s easily absorbable and hydrating – so won’t interfere with your tan or leave you feeling greasy.
