For super luxury

 What? Espa Life at Corinthia

 Where? Westminster

Why? If sheer decadence is your thing when it comes to spa-ing with the ladies, treat yourself with a trip to Espa Life at Corinthia (emphasis on the ‘treat’, as it’s pricey!). Burrowing down below London’s Corinthia Hotel, you will find four black marble floors of treatment rooms, private sleep pods, a gym, a nail studio and a Daniel Galvin hair salon. The best bit? Aside from the glorious treatments, enjoy a ‘thermal floor’ comprising a vitality pool (complete with various air and water massage jets), a glass sauna (that doesn’t ever steam up – er, how?), ice fountain, marble heated lounges and relaxation bays, steam room and a Jacuzzi, all within a setting that simply oozes opulence. The hard part is peeling yourself away from it at the end.

Must try: Renown for its facials, we recommend opting for the widely praised 90-minute Cellular Hydration Facial, which promises to boast immediate results. Experience a deep cleanse, steam and extraction with intensely hydrating herbal products.
