Turmeric bliss balls
You can store these turmeric bliss balls in the refrigerator for up to five days. They are great as a snack or for when you need a burst of energy – and are particularly good for days when you are exercising.
Ingredients (makes 10)
70g whole almonds
30g flaxseeds
30g desiccated coconut, plus extra for rolling
120g dried apple, soaked in hot water for 1 minute and then drained
1tsp ground turmeric
½tsp ground cinnamon
1tbsp raw cacao powder
2tbsp coconut oil, melted
2tbsp raw clear honey
Method
Put all the ingredients into a food processor and blend to a paste.
The, roll into balls about the size of a walnut and finally coat in the extra desiccated coconut. Yum!
