Creamy mocha mousse
This delicious creamy mocha mousse recipe from Califia Farms makes a once decadent dessert, that little bit healthier. Using cashew nuts to thicken and banana and cacao powder to sweeten, it’s our go-to guilt-free dessert. Perfect for a post-dinner treat and great when you’ve got guests!
Ingredients
4tbsp Califia Farms Concentrated Cold Brew
2tbsp raw cashews
1/2 ripe avocado
1/2 frozen banana
1/4 lemon, juiced
1 heaped tbsp cacao powder
1/4tsp ground cinnamon
Toppings of choice
Method
Soak the cashews in enough water to cover them for 10 minutes, then drain them.
Place all the ingredients into a blender and blend until a smooth thick consistency is reached.
Transfer to a bowl and cover with your favourite toppings – cacao nibs, dried pomegranate seeds and white mulberries are a winner!
