Carrot and raisin porridge
This carrot and raisin porridge recipe will no doubt give you the boost you need to start your day the right way.
Ingredients (Serves 2)
500ml Alpro Oat Original
90g porridge oats
1 tsp cinnamon
1 medium sized carrot, grated
35g raisins
1 small apple, peeled and grated
20g toasted walnuts, roughly chopped
1 tbsp honey, optional
Method
Place the oats in a medium-sized saucepan and pour over the Alpro Oat Original.
Add the cinnamon, raisins, grated carrot and apple, and warm over a medium heat for 6-8 minutes, stirring occasionally to prevent sticking.
Spoon into bowls and sprinkle with the toasted walnuts, adding a drizzle of honey if desired.
