5. Get to bed on time
Too many of us complain that we’re too tired to work out. You don’t need to be a party animal to sabotage your rest, either – it could simply be staying up late to watch television, run errands or do nothing in particular. Depriving your body of adequate sleep not only ensures you’ll be tired, irritable and hungry the next day, but it also raises the level of cortisol in your body – a stress hormone that makes it extra challenging to strip body fat.
