If you’re looking to overhaul your fitness game this 2016, take your pick from our PTs to look out for in 2016. Investing in a personal trainer can be a great way to stay on track and see results quicker. Whether you’re training for a fitness event, trying to lose weight or looking to build strength and muscle, finding a personal trainer that works for you is a surefire way to help you kick-start your 2016 fitness goals the right way. But with so many amazing gyms and trainers about, how do you find the right one for you? To help with your search, the team at WHL have cherry picked three PTs we think you should be looking out for this year. Happy training!

The Transformer

Who? Sandra Radav

Where? Lomax Chelsea, London

Why? If you’re after that killer booty, Sandra is your gal. A self-confessed expert in ‘building a bum empire’, you can be rest assured she will put you through your paces until said bum empire is successfully built. Placed 2nd in the Diva Bikini Pro category at the WBFF Worlds 2015, she certainly knows a thing or two when it comes to results, dedication and hard work, which is why she’s also a pro when it comes to fitness competition preparation. With direct experience, proven results and a fun and friendly attitude, we’re sure she’s going to be a new favourite at Lomax.

The verdict: For a real body transformation, Sandra is the trainer for you!

The bundle of energy

Who? Alison Paloheimo

Where? Studio Lagree, London and Guildford

Why? She may be Studio Lagree’s youngest teacher, but since joining the team a year and a half ago Alison has proved she’s certainly a force to be reckoned with! Before coming to Studio Lagree she was a certified Yoga Instructor, so her passion for fitness is certainly varied and in abundance. If you’re somebody who takes a little longer adjusting to certain moves, Alison’s attentive and friendly approach will work wonders. Whilst always pushing clients to challenge themselves, she’s all about getting the most out of each exercise rather than rushing through the whole session.

The verdict: A firm believer in a bad workout always being better than no workout, if you’re looking for encouragement, positivity and bucket loads of energy, Alison is your go-to.

The machine

Who? Steve Kowalenko

Where? W10 Performance, East London

Why? Having just taken on the role of Head Coach at W10 Performance City Road, we probably don’t need to explain why Steve’s so great but we’re going to do it anyway. Having served in the Army for nine and a half years as an All Arms Physical Training Instructor and musician, he is no stranger to early wake-up calls, strict discipline, and unlimited amounts of strength and endurance. So if you’re in need of some military discipline when it comes to exercise and fitness, Steve’s your guy. On top of this, with Gym Jones, CrossFit trainer and Strongman accolades under his belt combined with the fact he can run a marathon (of which he has run four) in little over three hours, it’s fair to say Steve knows his stuff.

The verdict: If you’re after an extremely knowledgeable, no-nonsense but hugely encouraging PT, look no further than Steve.
