How to spice up your Pilates practice

Tower Pilates

Be warned: the Tower looks a little scary to start with (it looks like something out of Fifty Shades of Grey) but it’s turned out to be one of our favourite versions of Pilates yet. The Tower is a wooden construction attached to the wall featuring springs and bars which, combined with mat work, will thoroughly support and deepen your workout. The springs lend a great deal of focus to the lengthening aspect of Pilates, allowing you to fully stretch out on every move. It also hugely works the core (ours was on fire). For a beginner, the Tower works particularly well as positions are fairly gentle and straightforward to get to grips with, but will still provide you with an extremely thorough workout.
