2. The Stocking Filler – Squires Kitchen’s Chocolate Moulds, from £3.85, Squires
Also suitable as part of an early gift, moulds are something close to any creative baker’s heart. Being a self-confessed baking mould addict myself, I love finding new shapes to add to my ever-growing collection at home. So if it’s a pre-christmas present you’re looking for, Squires has every mould possible, from miniature Santas, to individual Christmas trees. I must admit, I am partial to buying myself the occasional Christmas present, many of them being food orientated. If you’re like me, you’re also likely to be buying these moulds for yourself.
A festive specialty of mine are my liqueur truffles, so with these moulds you can make the perfect chocolates to give away, or indulge in with a glass (or bottle) of mulled wine. However, for those who can resist purchasing the entire collection for your personal baking, these moulds do make the perfect stocking filler. With such quaint, adorable shapes to choose from it would be impossible not to find something that someone with a sweet tooth would love.
