If you’re trying to up your fitness, you’ll be happy to hear that slogging away on the treadmill or bike is not the only way you can do this. If you structure your resistance workout correctly, you can actually massively boost your cardio – improving endurance and fitness as well as strength and muscle tone. Plus, it’s way more fun, far less repetitive and easy to mix up.

Try this cardio workout, going hell for leather during your sets to really push your heart and lungs, 2-3 times a week. Perform 30 seconds of each exercise without rest, then take 30-60 seconds’ rest and repeat 3-5 times, depending on your level.
