The Good Morning is the exercise to beat back fat for good!
There are loads of reasons why you should be working your back, but sadly it’s an area that’s often neglected. Okay, so it might not mean as much to you as a flat tum, slender pins or firm arms. It could, however, improve your posture – enough to make you appear taller and slimmer.
Having a strong back will also help you execute your moves with better form, and nailing your exercises will give you far better results. Throw the good morning exercise into the mix to target your back as well as your hamstrings.
Instructions
Hold a barbell in place resting on your upper back, elbows pointing towards the floor.
Hinging at the hips and keeping your shoulders back, bend forwards keeping a flat back until your upper body is parallel to the floor. You can shift the weight backwards as you bend to stay stable.
Extend back to the start and repeat.
Top tip:
Keep the legs straight with soft knees, feet hip-width apart
High intensity interval training is also another seriously good way to up your fat burn and beat back fat. Find out how to incorporate it into your workout here.
