5. Paddle boarding
Paddle boarding is one of the best cardio-strength training combinations out there (you can burn up to 246 calories an hour). It’s a true total-body workout, requiring you to engage your legs, bum and core for balance and stability, while you work your arms, back and core to power yourself through the water. And the all-over muscle toning isn’t the only perk. The biggest benefit of paddle boarding is that it trains your balance and focus. There is very little room for error if you don’t want to keep falling into the water. Because balance is the key to paddle boarding, try lunges and squats to help strengthen your lower body.
