  1. Go for a walk

Make it a family affair and go for a walk. A one hour walk after lunch could burn around 280 calories and if you have a dog you can burn some more by throwing a stick – yes it really works! ‘Walking is a great cardiovascular exercise that will help burn fat and is a great low-impact exercise too,’ explains Carly. ‘You could try walking up a hill or on a treadmill incline to target the glutes and hamstrings as well as the heart rate.’
