If you want to gain the countless amount of benefits yoga brings but are new to it and don’t know where to start, this 10-minute yoga video from fitness blogger Carly Rowena will provide you with a great starting point.

Yoga can improve health with the ability to build muscle strength, perfect your posture, protect the spine and the most obvious one – increase flexibility.

Through focusing on breathing as well as strength and flexibility, yoga has the power to help your mental wellbeing, making you feel more relaxed. So if your busy lifestyle leaves you feeling het up and tense this might just be the de-stresser you desperately need.

In the video Carly provides a simple 10-minute, at home yoga routine for you to follow. Carly is joined by uber-flexible fitness blogger Cat Meffan and beauty blogger Hollie Wakeham for the fun workout.

Cat takes the role of instructor; slowly taking us through each yoga pose from the cobra position to a downward dog. Cat has been practising yoga for the last two years, so it’s still a fairly new practice for her and the rest of the girls, so don’t worry they won’t be pushing you too hard to begin with.
