3. More isn’t necessarily better

Think that a few extra miles might give you the edge? Think again! It’s a common misconception that to become a better runner you need to run more frequently. Nina says: ‘A good schedule will ensure a balance between harder, intensive sessions and easier days.

Training well is about doing what you do to work towards your objectives but no more.’ So when your plan suggests an easy run, do what it tells you! And don’t forget those rest days! We’ve got plans for all levels. From 5K to a half marathon, check them out.
