Not a morning person? Find out why! Here are 10 things you’re doing wrong in the morning

1. Hitting the snooze button
Hitting snooze may seem like the best option when you wake up to that shrill alarm, but it could actually leave you feeling groggy. If you’re setting your alarm slightly earlier than necessary to give yourself time to sleep you’re setting yourself up to fail. The shut-eye you get as you snooze is nowhere near as valuable as proper sleep. You’re better off setting your alarm for the time you will actually genuinely get up, so you can get that extra half hour of proper sleep in, then get up. So be honest, if setting your alarm at 7.30 means snoozing until 8, just set it for 8 then get up and out there.
