Newlyn Fish Festival

Just a stone’s throw from Penzance in south-west Cornwall lies a wonderfully picturesque harbour that’s home to the UK’s largest fish festival – serving up the finest culinary ocean delights, boat races, games and live Cornish music. Expect an array of exotic fish finds, such as Afro-Caribbean mackerel, Thai crab cakes, Cornish fish curry and barbecued lobster, alongside gourmet ice cream, paella and local cheeses. And if that hasn’t whet your appetite, it’s all in aid of raising vital funds for the Royal National Mission to Deep Sea Fishermen, so dig deep and tuck in!
