Forget Glasto – what better way to spend summer than by soaking up the sun, healthily, at one of these 6 amazing festivals you didn’t know existed? Nowadays there’s no need to brave the mud or live off burger stands all weekend – health-friendly festivals are a growing trend, and there’s so many you’ll have a hard time choosing from them all!
Where: Fair Oak Farm, West Sussex
When: 28-30 August
Exhale is the family-friendly jaunt run by ‘brogis’ Carl Faure and Charlie Kelly, founders of Stretch, and Black and Light Yoga London. Their aim was to create a festival with a chilled vibe where people could relax with their friends and family, practise a little yoga, enjoy a little dance and listen to good music. Exhale delivers a sense of community and invites the whole family (including dogs) in the picturesque countryside of West Sussex.
Exhale is a great place to grow your yoga experience, with themed dynamic classes and specific classes focusing on the likes of kundalini or meditation. Afterwards, relax with a massage from the on-site body workers, and enjoy a barbecue around the bonfire (vegetarians are also fully catered for). Ever wanted to go to a yoga rave? Now’s your chance.
