Make a kid’s Christmas

Being sick at Christmas sucks, particularly if you’re a child stuck in hospital. One of the things that can really brighten a child’s day is having some fun new toys to play with, or something new to explore in the ward playroom – it’s a happy distraction from whatever nasty and scary things are going on in the rest of their life. Lots of children’s hospitals are overjoyed to receive new toys for their patients, although don’t forget to check the guidelines on what can, and can’t, be accepted. What better excuse to unleash your inner child in the toy shop?
