Making sure your good-for-you greens taste as delicious as possible when you’re chugging down your green smoothies can sometimes mean adding something a little sweet! This superfood smoothie recipe is a great pre-gym breakfast, powering you up with banana and dates and antioxidant-rich greens and moringa.

If you haven’t heard of Morigna, it’s a super-dooper powder, which is packed with vitamins, minerals and amino acids, as well as fibre and chlorophyll. It’s also a great source of B vits (B1, B2, B6 and B12), and zinc, making it a great stress- and flu-busting remedy at this time of year. Tuck in.

Ingredients

(Serves 2)

1 banana

2 medjool dates

1/3 cup cashew nuts

A handful each of spinach & kale

2tsp moringa powder

2 cups coconut water

 

Method

Add all ingredients to your blender, and blend! Top with goji berries, coconut chips and a sprinkle of chia seeds!
