The Spatisserie at iconic London hotel The Dorchester is stepping up its lunch game with a range of nutrition-dense bento boxes.

The selection includes four boxes serving up a mixture of lean proteins, fresh vegetables and superfoods, with each box catering to a specific health goal. There’s a protein-rich box designed to support gym-going guests, a box bursting with heart-healthy omega-3s and antioxidants for those looking to glow, a box packed with low glycemic index food for slow energy release and a box loaded with ingredients set to speed up the metabolism.

Each box comes with a drink, starter, main course and healthy pudding that’s sure to leave you satisfied. Choose from a range of freshly-squeezed juices, smoothies (a dairy-free option is available, obvs) and iced teas. The boxes will be served in The Spatisserie and also added to the in-room and The Promenade menus.

Fancy creating your own? Guests also have the option to craft their own meal with a choice of four accompaniments such as steamed spinach, a garden salad and mixed vegetables topped with a selection of garnishes such as pesto and jus.

‘The introduction of the new health concept is another example of how The Dorchester is committed to continually enhancing its guest experiences,’ according to food and beverage director Gregory Philippe. ‘We recognise our guests wish to retain their health and wellbeing while in residence and these options now enable a choice at a premium standard.’

The Bento Boxes start from £25, with the option to create your own meal from £29.
