The Black Mountain Pass

The A4069 is an A road which connects Llandovery with Gwaun-Cae-Gurwen in Wales. This is also known as the Top Gear road, made famous after Jeremy Clarkson was filmed driving it. Consequently, this road is now a favourite with car test drivers and motorists. Experience this well-known drive and appreciate the views of the Tywi Valley as the road wrinkles over Black Mountain in the Brecon Beacons. But watch out for stray sheep and sudden hairpins!
