Whip up a mid-week treat with this delicious mint chocolate chip smoothie.
The perfect way to pep up an otherwise standard hump day, this tasty mint chocolate chip smoothie is packed with flavor and a delicious sweet treat. We’ll always love a chocolately smoothie, but it’s the peppermint that really seals the deal on for us here.
Ingredients (serves 1):
2 frozen bananas
2 tbsp almond milk
1 tbsp Ultimate Oil Blend
1 tsp spirulina powder
2 drops peppermint oil
1 tbsp pumpkin seeds
1½ tbsp dark chocolate chips or cacao nibs
Method
Add the banana and milk to a blender and blend until smooth.
Add in the oils, spirulina, and more milk if needed, process for another 20 seconds.
Add the seeds and chocolate chips or cacao nibs and pulse.
Scoop the smoothie into a glass and top with chocolate chips and cacao nibs.
Tips
Use any green powder such as spirulina, wheatgrass or Beyond Greens.
