Meditation is a hugely popular mind-body intervention method in today’s society, largely in part to the mainstream realisation of just how accessible it can be. Gone are the days of chanting in lotus position to get your daily fix – although, doing it this way is perfectly fine if that’s what works for you. From mindfulness classes to meditation apps like Headspace, you can strive for your moment of peace almost anywhere these days. And if you think you don’t have the focus or attention span to reap any rewards from meditation, think again. The best thing about meditation is that you can start again – as many times as you want.
