Anyone with an adventurous streak should definitely consider heading to the Kendal Mountain Festival, a hub for outdoor enthusiasts. This year, the Adidas Terrex 10K Trail Run will definitely be one of the highlights of the festival, following a route of beautiful views, challenging inclines and grassy trails.

Kendal Mountain Festival is taking place on the 16-19 November.

Kendal have created Festival Weekend packages. The ‘Trail Blaze’ Weekend package is available for two people (£329) or one person (£229) and includes two nights’ accommodation at the Riverside Hotel in Kendal, tickets to the Mountain Running Specialist Session, entry to the 10K race, festival party tickets for the Saturday night and tickets for the Best of Kendal films on Sunday.
