“Unite! Get done! Fear not, for we’re All-One!”

These are the words of Dr. Bronner’s founder Emmanuel Bronner, who founded the top-selling American natural soap company after tragically losing his parents in the Holocaust. Dr. Bronner’s have proudly celebrated the diversity of their American heritage since 1948 and continue to do so today, especially in the face of adversity.

Ever since Dr. Bronner’s first began, they’ve championed the unity of people of all religious and ethnic backgrounds. They source only fairtrade and organic ingredients from a variety of locations around the world, including Ghana, Sri Lanka, Palestine, Israel and North County San Diego. With Buddhist, Muslim, Christian and Jewish workers making up their workforce, Dr. Bronner’s truly show what it means to support multiculturalism.

Dr. Bronner’s may have been founded over half a century ago, but their strong message of love and acceptance is more important now than ever before. The brand refused to stand by when Trump recently made an executive order to temporarily ban refugees and immigrants from seven predominantly Muslim countries from entering the US. They’ve remained true to their ethos, announcing that they will be donating $50,000 to the National Immigration Law Center, promoting their founder Emanuel Bronner’s longstanding message of ‘love and unity, not hate and revenge’.

When Emanuel Bronner first started manufacturing his soap, he started writing his philosophy in tiny script on the bottles. He wasn’t just creating soap; he was spreading a positive message that’s stood the test of time and will no doubt continue to do so for generations to come.
