Detox Kitchen launches the Sunset Sweats series to encourage you to exercise outdoors!

Summer here in the UK can be glorious, but we need to make the most of it while it lasts! That’s why the Detox Kitchen has launched its Sunset Sweats series, putting on a series of workout events over the summer so that you can enjoy some lovely fresh air and get fit at the same time! Sound good? Read on to find out all about it and how you can get involved.

What is it?

The Detox Kitchen Sunset Sweats series is a 9-session series that focuses on combining the beauty of the outdoors with effective and enjoyable workouts. Every week, you’ll have the chance to take part in a 45-minute al fresco workout in Pearson Square in Fitzrovia, London, followed by a delicious meal at the Detox Kitchen Mortimer Street deli. Sounds ideal to us!

The Detox Kitchen is on a mission to produce nutritious food that’s full of flavour and undoubtedly wholesome. It makes a special effort to cook meals to suit the season, so the meals you’ll be lucky enough to eat at their Mortimer Street deli over summer will both refresh and satisfy you in the heat.

Something for everyone

Whether you’re a seasoned yogi or prefer to sweat it out with a hardcore HIIT sesh, there’s a workout for everyone. With lots of familiar faces like Lottie Murphy and Zanna van Dijk, to name a few, there’s plenty there to motivate, encourage and inspire you along the way.

So who’s going to be there?

– On the 5 July, Pilates instructor and holistic health coach Lottie Murphy will be starting the Sunset Sweats series with a Pilates workout to help you strengthen your body, straighten your posture and improve your core stability.

– The second week will be led by Louisa Drake, founder of the Louisa Drake Method. Prepare to work your entire body from head to toe for fantastic results.

– The following week will see Lotte Bowser take you through a calming Vinyasa Flow Yoga session. You’ll feel so energised and revitalised by the end of it!

– Bona fide Instagram star Zanna van Dijk will be leading a Strength Conditioning class on the 26th July. You’ll definitely want to make note of her top workout tips.

– After a week off, ((BOUNCE)) are coming with a bang on 9th August to lead their signature dance trampoline class. Just keep jumping!

– You’re guaranteed to sweat buckets with Sophia de Stefano‘s HIIT class on the 16th August! Prepare to be put through your paces with a combo of cardio, plyometric, bodyweight and light weight exercises.

– Harness the harmony of your body and your mind with Hatha Flow Yoga, led by Ariadne Kapsali. This class is suitable for beginners, so it’s definitely worth a try if you’re new to yoga.

– With Hollie Grant‘s The Model Method, you can exercise like supermodels Jourdan Dunn and Suki Waterhouse. The Model Method is a full-body workout that combines Pilates with HIIT.

– To wrap up the series, join Naturally Sassy‘s Ballet Blast class on 6 September. Her ballet-inspired cardio workout is sure to get your heart racing.
