With organic, seasonal food and local produce becoming ever more readily available, there really is no excuse to not be more thoughtful when it comes to eating sustainably. And yet, according to the United Nations Food and Agricultural Organisation, one third of all food produced globally is wasted. It’s a shocking statistic, and perhaps the reason we love what Dragon’s Den victor Watmuff & Beckett is doing so much. Working directly with British farmers, they’re using wonky veg that would otherwise go to waste to create delicious ready meals. Who would’ve thought that had that veg been chucked, we would’ve missed out on delicious combos like their BBQ Pulled Pork & White Bean Soup or their Wild Mushroom, Lemon & Thyme Risotto?
