10 running rules you should be following

Make running a lifestyle, not a hobby

Once you make something a habit, it is likely to stick. Incorporating running into your everyday routine makes it inevitable, like brushing your teeth. By joining a running club or paying a membership to a track, for example, you can also start thinking of running as an investment. An upside to running is that you can exercise for free, but some people need the added pressure of money to keep them going.

Convincing yourself that running will benefit you in multiple ways, including strengthening your heart, building your muscles and helping to reduce the likelihood of depression, will mean you’ll soon see and feel these benefits. And once you feel the benefits of something you are less likely to give it up.
