Birch water

Birch water is certainly not a new concept either, having long been favoured across Nordic cultures as a spring detoxing elixir. But, as usual, us Britons are a little late to the party and are suddenly realising its wondrous benefits. Naturally diuretic, it supports kidney and liver functions (making it a fantastic hangover cure if anything else!) and has been said to speed up weight loss with unrivalled cleansing properties. It’s also extremely low in calories (5 calories per 100ml), making it the lowest out of our three. And what about the taste? Pure birch tree sap may not be first on your list of things you’re hankering after, but bear with us! Tasting slightly sweet with a crisp aftertaste of the forest, it’s extremely refreshing and unique. So if you’re looking for a new drink to help you get lean, birch water could be the answer.
