Warming pear, ginger and cinnamon juice recipe

Ginger has fantastic antibacterial, antiseptic and antiviral properties, making it perfect for keeping colds and flu at bay over winter. You can drink this cold, but it tastes even better slightly warmed and makes the whole house smell heavenly.

Ingredients (makes 2 servings)

4 pears

2 apples

A chunk of ginger

1tsp cinnamon

Method

Simply juice the pears, apples and ginger.

Warm the juiced fruit gently in a saucepan and stir in a teaspoon of cinnamon.

Pour evenly into two mugs and enjoy warm.
