Be prepared

‘Prep your healthy lunches for the week on a Sunday evening. That way you won’t be tempted to indulge in cheeky snacks if you pop out to the shops at lunchtime!’

See it, eat it, work it off

‘My top healthy eating tip is to generally eat what you like as long as you work it off by exercising! Cheeky, but effective.’

Use great swaps

‘Don’t give up your favourite foods – just find ways to eat the healthiest version of them as possible. I like courgetti instead of spaghetti or rye bread sandwiches rather than regular bread.’

‘Always add as much colour to your food as possible. Tomatoes, radishes, peppers are all easy additions for lunchtime salads.’

Eat in season

‘Summer is bursting with delicious UK-grown fruit and veggies that not only taste delicious, they’re packed full of good-for-you nutrients. Got your hands on a glut of courgettes like us, make some fritters, go mad with courgetti and homemade pesto or roast and serve in a salad with crumbled feta and hazelnuts. Eating the seasons also makes things cheaper. Win win!’
