The seeds in these sunflower cookies are a great source of protein – to help repair your muscles after a workout. They’re also a brilliant source of healthy fats, to help lower your cholesterol and reduce inflammation. We think this makes them the perfect guilt-free treat.

Ingredients (makes 4-6 cookies)

30g Pulsin’ sunflower seed protein powder

20g cashew nut butter

10g agave syrup

10g dark chocolate chips

20ml liquid egg whites

20g rolled oats

Method

Mix all ingredients together in a bowl to create your cookie dough.

Shape the dough into four medium (or six small) ‘balls’.

Flatten each of these ‘balls’ (to form cookies) and place them on a baking tray lined with parchment paper.

Bake at 180°C for about 10 minutes or until the cookies have started to brown on top (check on them after eight minutes).

Enjoy!
