From all-dark and vegan to the fiendishly nutty, these show-stopping Easter eggs cover all the bases.
For nut lovers
Carluccio’s Il Piemontese Easter Egg has got serious wow factor. The giant milk chocolate egg is covered in crushed hazelnuts and inside there’s a bag of mini gianduiotti chocolates, which are soft, delicate and incredibly addictive! If you have to share it, fortunately this egg could cope, but we’re not recommending it!
£23.95, Carluccio’s

Not only is Hotel Chocolat’s Eggsellency Alcohol Easter Egg extra thick, like all its awesome eggs – unlike countless other brands’ eggs, Hotel Chocolat make its eggs extra thick, and boy are we fans. This is also an egg of two halves: one is its 40% milk, the other 70% dark, which is exactly how the chocolate preferences in our house are divided! What we can both agree on however, is that boozy chocolates are winning, and those packed into the Eggsellency are a heady mix of Champagne, gin and rum.
£27, Hotel Chocolat
For vegans
There’s something so decadent about raw chocolate and this Chocolate Orange Easter Egg by As Raw As is no different. Each egg is expertly handcrafted using 70% dark chocolate flavoured with fresh orange and decorated with an orange and goji berry disc. There’s even a pack of mini chocolate and orange discs to enjoy too. It comes in a cute little gift box with hand printed ‘happy Easter’ tag and makes the perfect gift for the raw foodie, or vegan in your life.

For gym bunnies
Imagine an egg that had all the creamy chocolatey-ness of a traditional Easter egg but with 50% less sugar and four times the protein; it would be perfect for anyone in training and watching their sugar intake, and anyone who wanted to continue making gains in the gym while scoffing down their Easter egg.
We commonly opt for dark chocolate when we’re trying to be ‘healthy’ but Cocoa+ Large Milk Protein Chocolate Egg goes one step further in the health stakes by slashing the sugar and upping the protein – we’re fans.
£7.98, cocoa.plus
For collectors
Booja Booja isn’t just renowned for its award-winning melt-in-the-mouth truffles and ice cream range, its hand-painted paper maché packaging is swooned upon by anyone who’s ever been lucky enough to receive one. Each egg is skilfully painted by artisans in Kashmir, India and the partnership helps support a dying craft and a community-based cooperative model. These large eggs are packed with 12 truffles – the Fine de Champagne Chocolate Truffles are rich and luxurious and perfect to spoil someone with.
