Raw dark chocolate recipe

You’ll love this guilt-free raw dark chocolate recipe from nutritional therapist and star of ITV’s Sugar Free Farm Angelique Panagos

Got a sweet craving? Make up a big batch of this raw dark chocolate with your favourite berries, cherries, nuts or seeds and feel smug as you snack away – boosting those antioxidants with every bite. You’ll need a chocolate mould for this recipe.

Ingredients (makes 20-30)

60g cacao powder

110g cacao butter

120ml coconut oil

3-4tbsp rice syrup (or to taste)

Pinch sea salt

1tsp of either chopped almonds, goji berries, cherries, cocoa nibs, bee pollen or mixed seeds (optional)

Method

Gently melt cacao butter, coconut oil and rice malt syrup (use a bowl over dish of boiling water).

Combine all remaining ingredients and mix well.

Pour into chocolate moulds and chill in fridge until set.

Prep time 20 minutes, plus setting time.
