Pear, Parsley and Lime Smoothie
Makes 2 glasses – preparation 5 minutes
4 leaves of kale
1 bunch of flat leaf parsley
2 fully ripe pears
1 banana
Juice of 1/2 lime
250ml (1 US / 1 AU cup) mineral water
Wash the kale and the parsley. Peel and core the pears, peel the banana, then chop the fruit coarsely. Blend all of the ingredients to a smooth purée using a regular blender, food processor or a hand-held immersion blender. Add some ice cubes and drink the juice straight away.
Tip!
This smoothie is even better if the pear juice is extracted using a centrifugal juicer.
As a variation you can replace the parsley with dandelion greens.
