Peach velvet tea cocktail recipe

This delicate peach velvet tea cocktail recipe is the perfect springtime tonic.

The sparkling water and gin in this peach velvet tea cocktail recipe enhances the natural peach and rose characteristics of the Darjeeling tea blend.

Ingredients (serves 2)

1 Hope & Glory Darjeeling teabag or 1tsp Hope & Glory Darjeeling tea leaves

100ml boiled water

75ml gin

35ml rose syrup

50ml sparkling mineral water

A tall glass

A slice of peach or orange

Method

Infuse a teabag in 100ml of boiled water for five minutes.

Remove the teabag, or strain if loose, refrigerate to cool.

Combine cooled tea with the gin and rose syrup.

Pour over ice into two separate glasses.

Finish with 25ml of sparkling water in each glass. Garnish with a slice of peach or orange.
