Mango matcha smoothie recipe

This silky-as-you-like mango matcha smoothie recipe is packed full of health benefits. Mango has been shown to clear the skin, improve eye health, reduce diabetes risk and boost your sex drive, while matcha’s antioxidant levels are unmatched, with 137 times that of a cup of standard green tea. Ingredients

(serves 1)

100ml almond milk

1 ripe banana

Half a mango

1tsp matcha powder

Drop of manuka honey or maple syrup (optional)

Method

Blitz the almond milk, banana, mango and matcha powder together until smooth.
Add a few ice cubes and a drop of honey if you prefer your smoothie a little sweeter.
Whizz together until smooth and chilled.
